If it had not been God that was on our side…
New Celestial Church was inaugurated 2001 by the Prophet. David Olugbenga Tanimowo as the first shepherd and since then there’s nothing stopping us. Here you will find good hearted, friendly, and selfless individuals that goes out of their ways to make sure you are happy and well cared for. People that see you as part of us and not a stranger. We strive to make life easy for every of our members by providing useful information on how to go about your daily life as well as equip you with the spiritual power needed to navigate the journey of your life.
At New celestial parish, our goal is to make every member live a Godly and good life while inspiring members to be a blessing to others. We have dedicated and gifted prophets and prophetess that are always available to seek the face of the Lord on your behalf, they will reveal the secret of your problems and provide solution as God has directed them.
Talking about the choir, we have the best choir in America Diocese with great men and women of various talents as member.
Great instrumentalist and vocalists. We are served with best of Godly music all the time.
Our users (onibode) are up to the task in maintaining order and decorum during the service so you can enjoy your worship.
At New Celestial Parish, we strive to provide human, material and financial resource support for the needy, oppressed, depressed, impoverished peoples of the world through gift of food, clothing, medical supplies, goods, books, counsel and the like throughout our neighborhood as deemed necessary.
We conduct training seminars, conferences, missions’ endeavors and other Biblical spiritual training for the benefit of the Body of Christ and the furtherance of the gospel of Jesus Christ to our members from time to time.
Our Beliefs
We believe that every believer should be in a growing relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ by obeying God’s Word, yielding to the Holy Spirit and by being conformed to the image of Christ the author and finisher of our faith. See Philippians 3:12-13.
What we believe in
- We believe the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God, without any error, the all-sufficient authority in matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living.
- We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ, and that He is true God and man. He died on the cross for our sins. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father and is now our High Priest and Advocate.
- We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and therefore lost. Only through regeneration by the work of the Holy Spirit can man’s salvation and spiritual life is obtained.
- We believe that eternal salvation is the free gift of God, entirely apart from man’s works, and is possessed by any and all who have faith in and receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
- We believe in the personal, bodily, imminent, and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ and that His Second Coming inspires believers for dynamic and zealous life and re-associate for Him while waiting for His return.
- We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, the everlasting blessedness of the saved in heaven, and the everlasting punishment and separation from God of the unsaved in hell.
